Dexter 2 Cat - DLH - black Male - 12 weeks. Dexter is the silly one in his litter. He is a very curious kitty and has a lot of energy which constantly gets him into precarious situations. He loves to pounce, tackle and wrestle with his littermates and he isn?t intimidated at all by the large size of our adult animals. Dexter?s favorite playmate is our 60 pound lab and he started following him around when he was only 4 weeks old. He is also the first kitty to run up to meet new people. He is very well socialized and does well with people, other cats and dogs. Dexter loves to climb on (and in) stuff and play with toys. He has a beautiful fluffy, black coat and loves to be brushed. He has big, green eyes and a really loud purr?which he uses often. Dexter will occasionally curl up on your lap for a nap but he prefers to sleep snuggled up next to our Lab or his littermates. Dexter would do very well in a family where he would have another play-mate or two. He is a sweet boy and will bring a lot of joy and entertainment to his human family. Charlie Cat - DSH Male - 0 years and 4 months. My name is Charlie because I have a Charlie Chaplin mustache. I am black and white (lots of white) and my mustache is a little crooked. My brother is Ace and my two sisters are Lily and Zoe and we are no longer feral. I am about 4 1/2 months old. According to my foster mom I was a little slow coming around also but with a lot of love and coaxing I've discovered how much I enjoy laying on a lap and being petted. I also found out that when I am so content the purring is non-stop. I am also learning that my name is Charlie and not kitty-kitty. My foster mom thinks I'm going to be a little taller than my siblings cause I have a lot of legs to grow into. I' m learning that this socializing we have been going thru is not bad at all. I think we are all getting a feel for it. I really have fun with all the toys we have to play with. If you are interested in adopting a CAWS cat or dog, please fill out the Online Application! |

Zoe 2 Cat - DSH - gray Female - 0 years and 4 months. My name is Zoe and I'm all gray. When I run I look like a Silver Bullet cause I'm real sleek. I am another sister of Ace. I am about 4 1/2 months old. I was feral also and I am still a little shy. I am rather independent and can entertain myself. Don't get me wrong, I love to play with all my toys and get rowdy with my step-mom Sadie (the resident cat). My siblings and I chase each other a lot and that wears us out. My foster mom said I was not in any hurry to be friendly but once I figured the whole thing out I was not too bad. Sometimes it takes a while to leave the feral life behind and accept all that loving, holding, petting and purring. I think that given enough time and love and patience whoever takes a chance on me won't be sorry. If you are interested in adopting a CAWS cat or dog, please fill out the Online Application! |
