As you can see, I am a gorgeous black cat with a very glossy coat. I am still quite young, only a year or two old, and very playful. My favorite games include playing fetch with my toy mice (or sometimes your hair ties), rolling around with my catnip toys and chasing feather's on a stick! When I'm done playing you will find I LOVE to curl up and purr on your lap. Since I was rescued from a terrible neglect situation I am quick to show you my gratitude with lots and lots of love! I am actually known for my excellent biscuit-making skills! My foster says I am the dearest, sweetest, gentlest cat ever! I don't want to brag, but I do try to be a good girl! I would be happy in most any home, I am quite adaptable. I hold my own with other cats and I think kids are pretty fun too. I haven't met a dog yet but I'm confident I would adjust to one just fine if it was nice to me too. Please consider adopting me, I hope to be your purrfect match! Update: I met a dog today, she didn't scare me at all! In fact, I walked right up to her to sniff noses and let her know I was ready to be friends. 	Zeke Dog - Shepherd Male - 8 years and 9 months. Zeke is a 8 year old Tan and Black German Shepherd mix approximately 126#. He is a great dog and is looking for a quiet home to just be the dog of the house. He is good with other dogs, but would prefer to be in a quiet environment. He is very sweet, and totally loves people. He needs moderate walks and family time. He would be a great companion for someone that is looking for a big couch potato. 	River (formerly Sabre) Dog - Husky Male - 2 years and 3 months. If you want a very active, keep you laughing, and almost exhausted just watching me run, I am the dog for you. I am Sabre, a 18 month old male white with cream Siberian husky mix. I am tall, but not yet filled out, and only weigh about 45#. I definitely need a home that has the time to work with me and help learn my obedience and house training. I am very intelligent (almost to smart), and need a consistent loving home, that will help me grow up to be the fantastic dog I can be. Give me a chance, and help me to be the dog of your dreams. 	Shay Cat - DSH Female - 0 years and 10 months. Shay is the sweetest cuddliest purringest little fluff ball you will ever meet! She loves to be scratched and petted. She loves to snuggle; on the couch while you are watching TV, under the covers when you are sleeping, while you are working on the computer. She is still quite young and loves to chase toy mice and balls. She especially appreciates when you tease her with a feather toy or dangle a little string for her. Shay does suffer from short term memory loss, however. (Remember the movie 50 First Dates with Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore?) She is timid when she first meets you, but is easily convinced with a gentle voice and some encouragement to be petted. Her fur is SO soft! If you leave the room and come back, you will have to start over with the encouragement. It is quite cute though, because it doesn't take her very long. Quick movements and loud noises startle her, but over time she does become accustomed to you and will overcome her memory loss/timidity. Earning the trust from a fluffy with a heart this sweet and a purr this genuine is well worth a little extra kindness and patience. Special - Adopt Two Cats over 6 Months for the Price of One!! 	India Cat - DLH Female - 0 years and 11 months. Mom and Daughter pair: Buckles and India! Buckles had a litter of four kittens in a woodpile last summer. India is her remaining unadopted kitten. Both are very smart tortoiseshell girls, playful and sweet. Buckles has short gold and black fur; India has medium long fur mostly black with gold highlights. Buckles talks to India in 'cat code' giving her directions. They are both bossy and unafraid of our other cats - even the males. They have both been indoors since last July 2007. Buckles rarely meows, and India is petite with a tiny high-pitched voice. They both love toys and like to play together. They purr their approval when held and loved.
